If you're looking to have a little more oversight into your calls, you'll have the option to turn on call recording and transcription for your outbound calls and/or your inbound calls using the below instructions. Call recordings are saved for 12 months and the content of the call recording transcripts is searchable within your Drop Cowboy account. Use the below instructions to learn how to turn this feature on!
Please note that funds will need to be available in your account balance for call recording and transcription to work. Call recording and transcription will be deducted from your account balance at a rate of 3 cents per minute.
To Enable Call Recording & Transcription For Outbound Calls
In your 'Manage' menu locate and click 'Lists'.
Click the 'Default Dialing Rules' button.
Locate Premium Features and toggle the setting to 'Yes'.
To Enable Call Recording & Transcription For Inbound Calls
In the 'Manage' menu, locate and click 'Call Routing'.
Enabling Call Recording When Configuring a Call Route: The option to turn on call recording for inbound calls is located in the 'Normal Hours' tab. You will want to check the box for 'Record Calls'. This can be accessed when configuring your IVR as shown below. You'll want to click the blue 'Create' button after selecting any additional call route settings.
Enabling Call Recording For An Existing Call Route: Simply locate the Call Route that you'd like to enable inbound call recording for and click 'View Rules'. Click the 'Normal Hours' hours tab and check the box for 'Record Calls'. Then click the blue 'Save' button.
